The HPAT-Ireland is a computer-based admissions test required alongside your Leaving Certificate results for entry into undergraduate medicine in:
- University College Dublin (UCD)
- Trinity College Dublin (TCD)
- University of Galway (NUIG)
- University College Cork (UCC)
- Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)
- University of Limerick (for MSc Occupational Therapy & MSc Speech & Language Therapy)

Exam Structure & Content

- HPAT max score reduced from 300 → 150 points.
- Leaving Certificate moderation above 550 points removed.
- New combined maximum: 775 points (625 LC + 150 HPAT).
