Let’s break down everything you need to know about LNAT 2025 and how we’ll help you crack it.
What is LNAT?
The LNAT (Law National Aptitude Test) is an admissions test used by top universities in the UK and beyond to assess candidates applying for undergraduate law programs.
Unlike academic exams, the LNAT doesn’t test legal knowledge. Instead, it evaluates key skills such as:
-
Critical thinking
-
Logical reasoning
-
Reading comprehension
-
Verbal argumentation
-
Written communication
This makes it an essential tool for law schools to differentiate between high-achieving applicants with similar academic backgrounds.
Universities That Require LNAT
Several leading universities around the world require LNAT as part of the admissions process for their undergraduate law courses, including:
-
University of Oxford
-
University College London (UCL)
-
King’s College London (KCL)
-
London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)
-
Durham University
-
University of Glasgow
-
SOAS University of London
-
University of Bristol
Many other global universities, especially in the EU and Asia, also consider LNAT scores during admissions.
